About Dana

“There isn’t anyone you couldn’t learn to love, once you’ve heard their story.” - Fred (Mr.) Rogers

Dana Lindsay began her post-college career in technical sales and management, and then as a stay-at-home parent, she further developed her leadership skills in officer positions with not-for-profit, parent, and sports organizations. Her graduate work and subsequent career as a licensed counselor brings all of her life and work experiences together to provide her clients with a well-rounded background for working on all types of goals. More specifically, she works with clients desiring help with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, second career/empty nest planning, career planning, codependency, marital stress, personality disorders, and boundary setting. Other areas of focus are clients working through religious trauma, religious deconstruction, and LGBTQ+ issues, mainly mixed-orientation marriages. Dana is also a certified facilitator of Prepare-Enrich, a comprehensive premarital counseling program that helps couples discover their areas of strength in order to assist them in their areas of growth.

Dana enjoys watching movies and television with her family, and she believes that themes and roles from movies and television can help clients identify previously unrecognized issues in their own personal lives by seeing them play out in characters on screen. Helping clients rebuild their own current and future life stories is part of Dana’s eclectic approach to counseling. Dana focuses on helping clients assess, appreciate, and use their strengths in order to move forward toward achieving their goals.

Dana is a native Atlantan who enjoys life with her family and a crazy hound named Henry.
